Invisalign

Invisalign takes a modern approach to straightening teeth. It uses a custom-made series of aligners created for you and only you. These aligner trays are made of smooth, comfortable and virtually invisible plastic that you wear over your teeth.

Wearing the aligners will gently move your teeth into place little by little, based on the exact movements your orthodontist plans for you. There are no metal brackets to attach and no wires to tighten. You just pop in a new set of aligners about every two weeks, until your treatment is complete.

You’ll get a great smile without a treatment that gets in the way of your daily life. The best part about the whole process is that most people won’t even know you’re straightening your teeth.

Invisalign Teen

Invisalign for Teens treatment is ideal for busy parents because there are never any emergency appointments from broken wires or brackets. Invisalign often requires fewer appointments (than traditional metal braces) because you get your Invisalign aligners in advance, and each visit requires less "chair time." The typical Invisalign for Teens patient is seen once every 8 weeks for a total average treatment time of 9 to 15 months.

Invisalign for Teens is an ideal choice for teens who play sports, play certain types of instruments, love crunchy foods, or are worried about how metal braces will look at homecoming or in the yearbook.

No Impressions/ 3D Printing

No more goop or discomfort. Using our iTero scanner, Dr. Stumpos can take a highly accurate digital impression of your teeth and jaw. The new technology completely eliminates the need for tray and putty impressions, where the experience can be uncomfortable. The iTero scanner digitally captures the structure of the teeth and gums using the latest optical technology. When combined with in-house 3D printing technology, we can create custom aligners, retainers, all while significantly reducing the time to replace any items that are lost or broken.

In-house Aligners

SCAN

We first use our intraoral scanner to create a digital model of the teeth. This eliminates the need for goopy impressions and takes only 5 minutes at the first appointment.

Plan

Our doctors then take these 3D models and create a custom digital plan of how each tooth should be moved, systematically and incrementally, to its final position. We are then able to “design” a series of digital models representing each step in the process towards the final treatment goal.

Each of these digital models is then converted to a physical model using our 3D printer. The models are used to fabricate a series of custom plastic trays to be worn by the patient.

DELIVER

Trays can be given to the patient quickly, usually within days or even hours of their scan. Each tray is to be worn for 1 week before switching to the next and the patient is seen consistently by their Orthodontist to ensure an efficient and predictable journey to a great smile.
